BMX in the community
its been roughly 6 months since ive started BMX freestyle.
an extreme sport that takes up most of your life.
as wat dave mirra said, "its since then that ive found that ive been sentenced to life."
being sentenced to life on a bmx is really a very wonderful experience.
in school all u suffer from is nagging and undoubtedly stress.
bmx is a whole different matter.
u sacrifice most of ure time, blood, pain, anger, dissapointment but once you accomplish the trick. the feeling is beyond what i can explain to you.
you hafta bask in it to know it.
6 months into riding and ive found out that bmx riders are dished everywhere.
MEANING?
wherever we go, we get THAT LOOK.
yes THAT LOOK.
the look that shows that we're the HOOLIGANS of the society.
for goodness sake, its a sport.
and yes the gov. is promoting bmx but where's the skateparks?
there's only a handful around singapore.
& yes there's one coming up soon at east coast park.
well.. thats just one... ONE
i can name the skateparks in singapore.
there arent many.
in the east there's bedok bowl.
& i tell u... its daaaamn small...
3 quarters, 1 funbox, several rails 1 bank thingy and a bowl with a wall.
thats it.
and aunties and uncles, please stop your disgusting look.
take videos to report to police?
holy shit i can screw your face upside down.
& taxi drivers, u don't own the road.
cyclists belong on the road too according to the gov.
as what people say, life is unfair.
=)
